If you send you car for car wash make sure you know the difference between body and engine car wash. You can do your own car body wash or if you are busy you can just bring it to any car wash shop. There are small car wash places which are run by out of school youths or just a small family car wash run by family's own children. These kind of car wash centers is good to help youths earn especially the secondary newly graduates during school holidays while waiting for the next enrollment.
Body car wash is not easy. It's tiring and hours of washing the inside and out of the car really makes your back ache especially if you really want to clean it thoroughly up until the tires and underneath the car . If the water pressure in your area is weak, better bring your car to the car wash center :)
Engine wash should be done only to the workshop because the mechanic will cover the parts of the engine that is not supposed to get wet especially the plugs and other parts sensitive from water before the wash boy will open the nozzle and start washing. However, you can do it yourself if you know the parts that are sensitive to water and cover it before washing. After washing the wash boy will dry up the engine using air pressure. The mechanic will check back again testing the ignition if it works. If everything is okey before they will release the car.
